Corporation Tax Filing

Every Limited company must prepare a corporation tax return and computation, which is sent to HMRC with the statutory accounts. It must be submitted within 12 months of the accounting period end but the tax is due earlier than that. It is usually preferable to make sure the returns are submitted before the tax is paid to avoid incurring interest and potentially penalties.

Whilst the current government are promising some simplification of the corporation tax system in the future, there can be many differences between what is the profit per the accounts and what would be the profit that you are taxed on.

It is important that you do not make errors as the HMRC penalty regime is becoming more and more unforgiving, and there may also be some tax breaks that you are unaware of which will help reduce your tax bill.

Allow me to help you to meet your company tax deadlines and minimise the overall tax burden between your company and personal positions.
