Accounts Preparation

If you are a limited company or an LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) you must submit your accounts in a very specific format to Companies House or they will be rejected and penalties may be incurred.

This must be done by most companies 9 months after the end of the accounting period.

If you are a small company you may submit what is called abbreviated accounts. This means that only certain information is filed on public record which helps protects some of the detail of your business from competitors. However, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) will not accept abbreviated accounts when you file the company tax return so you must still also prepare a full set of accounts for them.

You also have other responsibilities as a limited company with Companies House and I would be happy to help ensure that you do not miss any of your deadlines or incur penalties or enquiries.
